Job Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst will formulate datasets, investigate findings, build visualizations, and develop strategies to drive efficiency at Millennium Space Systems.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will have opportunities to contribute directly to projects that will help Millennium Space Systems achieve its strategic goals.

Applications include identifying methods for measuring company health and performance; analyzing data to optimize current manufacturing and supply chain processes; and utilizing historical data to help generate forward forecasts.

This position's internal job code is Business Intelligence Analyst. Our team is currently hiring for level 1-2.


Responsibilities

  • Develop Key Performance Indicators alongside stakeholders and gather reporting requirements
  • Collect, validate, and analyze data to support stakeholders across every department at Millennium
  • Create and manage data workflows in order to increase data accessibility and streamline company reporting capabilities
  • Leverage data to support the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
  • Identify areas for process improvement and make suggestions for tools to increase efficiency
  • Develop models of processes, and use those models to inform decision making
  • Build forecasts to aid Millennium in planning and executing our work

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three years of professional experience in analytical roles
  • Knowledge of SQL and SQL Server Management Studio
  • At least one programming language for data analysis, such as R, Python or Julia
  • Familiarity with statistical methods, including time series forecasting and regression analysis
  • Experience interacting with and manipulating relational datasets
  • Experience leading at least one datadriven project with multiple stakeholders
  • Concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Selfstarter and a team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field
  • Six or more years of professional experience in analytical roles, including but not limited to Operations Research or Data Science
  • Experience working with API interfaces
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence backend databases
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint
  • Familiarity with optimization techniques and experience in formulating optimization problems
  • Experience working in an advanced manufacturing environment and/or government contracting

Summary Pay-Range

  • Level 1: $ $42.07
  • Level 2: $ $53.49
