- Execution of magnetic measurements on a range of films of increasing magnetic and optical complexity, and development of data analysis methods to extract the magnetic moment and Heisenberg exchange of relevant layers with appropriate uncertainty analysis.
- Fabrication of EUV optics, thin film materials and nanofabrication of test samples for studies of dynamic heat flow.
- Work closely with collaborators to correlate these measurements with device performance, and aid in the development of models that capture the impact of magnetic exchange and thermal transport on device performance.
- Present research results and submit for publication.
- Mentor students and post-doctoral researchers towards measurement and system deliverable goals.
