VCA Laguna Niguel is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our amazing team full-time Our four-doctor general practice is located in the heart of Laguna Niguel and offers wellness and sick appointments, general surgery, and dentistry.
Your skills and expertise will support our doctor team in providing top-notch patient care and an unparalleled client experience.We focus on the employee experience, too We schedule monthly staff meetings, offer on-site and online training, schedule off-site team bonding activities, and we know how to have fun
Required skills include:
- Obtaining medical histories
- Proper animal restraint and handling
- Administering SQ, IM, IV injections and SQ fluids
- IV catheterization and venipuncture/phlebotomy
- Lab work (inhouse and reference lab)
- Radiographic positioning
- Working independently and as part of a team
- A positive and helpful attitude and a willingness to learn
