Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing vital signs monitoring and assessment of medication/supplement list and review of systems.
• Administration of IV therapies under the direction of Dr. Salerno and following our specific treatment protocols.
• Conducting blood draws and managing specimen collection in accordance with established guidelines.
• Managing prescription refills and participating in some prescription precertifications as needed.
• Maintaining inventory levels, tracking supplies, and placing orders to ensure availability of necessary medical materials.
• Upholding the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to healthcare provider
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Familiarity with coding procedures for accurate billing

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Connecticut.
• Experience in IV administration is mandatory.
• Proficiency in blood draw techniques and familiarity with basic medical prescribing procedures.
• Ability to efficiently manage inventory and perform minor administrative tasks related to patient care.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on providing compassionate patient support.
• A proactive, detailoriented approach to job responsibilities.
