Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with supervisors to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed as required and take on any additional responsibilities delegated by management in line with our Operational Excellence Plan for the Maintenance Department.
  • Possess a solid understanding of industrial machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, drives, relays, 3-phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems.
  • Show exceptional skills in PLC, CNC, and PC troubleshooting and creative problem-solving, along with a practical aptitude for both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment by inspecting, cleaning, and repairing to identify and prevent issues proactively.
  • Maintain detailed equipment logs documenting performance issues, repairs, calibrations, and tests for each piece of equipment, both manually and electronically on the Downtime log for Maintenance.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of all electrical equipment, showcasing your technical expertise.
  • Operate equipment proficiently to demonstrate correct usage or diagnose malfunctions.
  • Expertly handle conduit installations in compliance with the National Electrical Code, wiring of starters, motors, controls, and breaker panels.
  • Collaborate with your supervisor to establish personal goals and objectives, continuously seeking ways to enhance quality and productivity.
  • Prioritize safety above all, strictly adhering to and enforcing safety protocols.
  • Be adaptable in your work hours, making necessary adjustments to complete tasks efficiently.
  • A good understanding of Arc Flash is advantageous, underscoring your skills.
  • Consistently deliver top-notch performance in line with our Operational Excellence Plan for the Maintenance Department.
Qualifications:
  • Experience & Education:
  • Must have medium to advanced knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics & welding. Proficiency in following and troubleshooting electrical schematics and general blueprint reading. Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting PC, CNC, and PLC equipment is essential.
  • Requires 3-5 years of general maintenance experience.
