- Develop processes and procedures for effective and efficient close for various areas, working with cross functional teams to understand contracts and customize procedures to meet business needs.
- Establish and ensure compliance with department procedures including close timelines, SOX controls and quality of work product for all levels of the department, assigning workloads to meet the needs of the business.
- Oversee the monthly and quarterly close process and the preparation of deliverables for various departments throughout the Company, reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations for financial close, identifying unusual activity and researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Establish and implement new procedures to enhance processes within the department and Company
- Manage the team workload ensuring appropriate cross training, development opportunities and maximization of team talent and capabilities.
- Work with internal and external auditors to drive successful completion of quarterly reviews and year end audits, providing requests, answering questions and resolving issues
- Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of accounting policies, procedure
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline. Certified Public Accountant preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- 1+ years of people leadership with experience developing and mentoring individuals
- Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Life Science industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel and Word
- SAP S/4HANA and Blackline experience preferred

SpringWorks Leadership Principles:
Working closely with the Director, Corporate Accounting, the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting will manage the monthly financial close process by reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations and flux analysis as well as lead other projects within the accounting department as required. The Senior Manager receives objective based assignments and determines resources to meet schedules and goals. The ideal candidate must be a team player, fast learner, change driver and attentive to details and should be able to prioritize work while leading the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
The expected salary range for this position is $125, $165, Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
