VCA Coast Animal Hospital is adding a full time, Dentistry experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Venipuncture
  • Catheter placement
  • Radiology
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Physical examinations and patient assessment
  • Surgical preparation and assisting
  • Dentistry
  • Laboratory work
  • Pharmacy
  • Patient recovery
  • Compassionate care for hospitalized patients

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have documented previous Animal Hospital experience
  • Hold a current RVT license
  • Must have surgery and dentistry experience including dental extractions
  • Flexibility in hours including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Customer service skills including Phone skills
  • Working knowledge of computers
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
