Our team at Babbel is as diverse as our content, with over 1,000 employees from 80 different nationalities. We are currently seeking a Head of Financial Systems and Automation to join our Finance team in the bustling city of Berlin


Reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, you will lead a team responsible for implementing new financial systems, managing system administration, providing technical support to finance stakeholders, and automating processes.

You will also initiate optimization projects, take ownership of projects, and act as a key liaison with external parties in this area.

We are looking for someone with experience in leading teams and projects, and a passion for improving processes.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Leading a team of 5 dedicated Babbel employees
  • Taking ownership of implementation and optimization projects, specifically the implementation of a new ERP system
  • Assessing current financial processes and identifying opportunities for optimization and automation in areas such as Order to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, and Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Acting as the main point of contact for consultants assisting with projects
  • Efficiently allocating team resources for both project work and daytoday activities
  • Creating a scalable and sustainable financial systems landscape
