The German Red Cross Blood Donation Service West provides blood products and medical services to healthcare facilities in North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland.

With over 1200 employees at five locations and our commitment to research and development, we are one of the leading non-profit organizations in the field of transfusion medicine.

We are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant (m/f/d) to join our team at our location in Mossville, IL.


Your responsibilities:


  • You will support our newly established marketing department in developing, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns.
  • You will perform administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • You will plan events and other promotional activities.
  • You will create, distribute, and monitor project and financial plans.
  • You will create and edit reports and presentations.
  • You will be responsible for social media management, especially paid media.

Your qualifications:


  • You have a degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or have completed a vocational training in marketing, sales, or communication.
  • You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, as well as common marketing programs and analysis tools.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are analytical and able to present complex information in an easily understandable way.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team.
  • You are organized in your work and able to coordinate complex tasks.
