City Ambulance Service is seeking a Logistics Specialist responsible for supporting the Logistics department in providing support through professional, friendly, and accurate phone interactions and arranging of emergent and non-emergent ambulance transports for our Greater Houston, Texas Stations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Make sure all ambulances are fully stocked and equipped*
  • Help in the daily logistics operations between stations
  • Recognizes critical situations and alters supervisor on complicated and unusual situations
  • Move equipment between stations

Other duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely
  • Move supplies from and to multiple Houston Stations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Commitment to teamwork and assisting colleagues in achieving company goals
  • Ability to think independently, to find creative solutions


  • Confident phone presence

  • Map reading skills, including online mapping programs
  • General geographic knowledge of Greater Houston region and surrounding counties

Pay:
From $13.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Spring, TX: Relocate before starting work (required)
