    Responsibilities*

    The role involves designing and synthesizing small molecule inhibitors that target proteins as potential anti-cancer agents, with a primary emphasis on synthesizing heterocyclic compounds that target protein-protein interactions relevant to cancer. Tasks include designing and synthesizing new analogs of existing leads to broaden Structure-Activity Relationship (SAR) for various classes of lead compounds. The ideal candidate should be proficient in independently creating synthetic routes, solving intricate synthetic problems, efficiently synthesizing targeted molecules, and analyzing results and SAR data to refine the drug-like properties of synthesized compounds.

    Required Qualifications*

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years of experience in a research laboratory
    • Proficiency in using HPLC, NMR, and MS for organic chemistry applications

    • Ph.D.
