Description

The Learning Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Learning & Culture team in all administrative and logístical duties required to ensure a professional, seamless, and excellent learning experience across modalities.

This includes ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies and materials, supporting the maintenance of in-house training equipment and facilities, and supporting the Director in managing the departmental budget.

In addition, the coordinator will communicate with employees and vendors on behalf of the Learning & Culture team.

The coordinator will also create and maintain the training schedule for all internal learning opportunities, track and create reports on outcomes of all learning opportunities and help maintain training records for the company.

Ensures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, including all applicable state and federal banking regulations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works closely with the Director and Learning & Culture team members to provide logístical support for every training event, including in-person and virtual delivery methods, setting up classrooms, ordering meals, and virtual meeting support.
  • Develops and/or works with Learning & Culture team members to customize and maintain quality training support materials and visual aids; oversees printing requirements and ensures appropriate amount of materials are provided ahead of each training event.
  • Assists with coordination and onboarding of new team members.
  • Actively participates in project planning and implementation to ensure the appropriate level of support is provided for each event.
  • Coordinates Learning & Culture team events and assists with special learning events.
  • Manages supply ordering, storage, and delivery to the appropriate training location.
  • Responds to internal employees' inquiries in a timely and efficient manner and performing research as necessary to communicate accurate information back to the employees.
  • Manages the calendar for Learning & Culture, including the intake of requests for support from internal stakeholders.
  • Supports the Director in tracking and managing the departmental budget.
  • Supports the Director in special projects; gathers data and prepares reports as required for audits.

SECONDARY DUTIES
The position performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned by management.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position is not responsible for the supervision of staff.


ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The incumbent is in a non-confined office setting in which they are free to move about at will.

In the course of performing the duties and responsibilities of this position spends time writing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 25 pounds), sitting, typing on a computer keyboard, and standing, kneeling and reaching.


The incumbent for this position may operate any of all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machine, adding machine, computer and related printers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Highschool diploma required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies and all levels of staff and management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and web conferencing tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Strong time management, stress management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability, sound judgment, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate skills in instructing on systems or technical procedures and trouble shooting technology issues.
  • Current Texas driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
