Position Description
Harvard Medical School seeks a highly motivated individual to support research that uses mouse perturbation technology for conducting forward genetic screens for discovery of novel immunotherapy targets for cancer.
This individual will independently perform and/or coordinate a wide range of laboratory research procedures and conduct a variety of complex support tasks for this project including generation and validation of bone marrow chimeric mice, creating subcutaneous tumor models, and maintaining transgenic mouse strains.
This individual will perform a variety of laboratory techniques (including isolation of bone marrow stem cells and T cells, lentiviral transduction, multiparameter flow cytometry and molecular approaches such as cloning, CRISPR, DNA isolation) independently, reporting results to a supervisor or other lab personnel.
