Reports to:
Finance Manager


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Record sales/purchase transactions and cash receipt/disbursement transactions into accounting software.
  • Arrange ACH/wire payments and send requests to approver.
  • Deposit occasional payment checks at nearest bank branch.
  • Mail tax forms or payment checks at post office.
  • Help prepare information requested by tax return preparer.
  • Run and reconcile monthly T&E expense reporting.
  • Help with monthly general ledger journal entries and account reports for the team and management.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and support to team members and management as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fields.
  • 12 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamic GP preferred. Otherwise, experience in a similar accounting software required.
  • Experience and knowledge in inventory preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles is a strong plus (U.S. GAAP)
  • Japanese language skill preferred.
  • Excellent computer and Excel skills.
  • Detailoriented and organized.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping deadlines.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Experience in the publishing industry including internships a plus

Pay:
