Construction Quality Manager with railway and transit experience in the Delaware metropolitan area.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure the preparation of all required daily work activity reports and QA/QC reviews.
- Daily oversight of construction activities at the assigned project sites in Delaware metropolitan or surrounding areas.
- Effectively interpret and convey understanding of written construction documentation, plans, and specifications for build documents and work orders.
- Monitor general contractor manpower and quality of work performed with the ability to perform quality audits.
- Check compliance of work with approved drawings/submittals as work is installed and issue corrective actions.
- Attending field coordination and progress meetings, as required.
- Interfacing with clients, inspectors, regulatory agencies inspectors, safety consultants and architect/engineer on site.
- Perform additional relative duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of Construction Management experience in largescale civil inspection projects.
- Must have experience with railway and transit construction in the Delaware Metropolitan or adjacent areas.
A valid driver's license is required for this position
:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Microsoft Project/Primavera software.
- Experience using construction management software like Primavera Contract Management is preferred, but eBuilder or Procore is helpful.
- OSHA Certification.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the seamless ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Pay:
$100, $130,000.00 per year
