- Efficiently and thoroughly troubleshoot and repair various equipment, including tugs, belt loaders, pickups, deicing equipment, push back tugs, bag carts, electric vehicles, etc.
- Travel to different SkyWest ground handled cities to repair various equipment
- Prep and paint equipment
- Complete ramp checks as needed
- Help train apprentices when needed
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- A positive attitude, are self-motivated, are a quick learner, are a team player, and are Safety and detailed oriented
- At least one year automotive/ground service equipment related experience or training
- Work independently
- Willing to work nights, early morning, weekends, holidays, extended shifts and rotating shifts
- Willing to work in an outdoor environment in inclement weather
- Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued drivers license
- Metric Sockets: must range from 8mm - 19 mm deep and shallow
- Standard Wrenches: standard 1⁄4" to 1 1⁄4"
- Allen Wrenches: standard and metric
- Screwdrivers: Phillips, Flat Head, and Torx
- Pliers: Standard and needle nose pliers, and channel locks
- Impact Gun and Sockets: Pneumatic 1/2" and 3/8"
- Pry bars (variety of lengths)
- Automotive meter (fluke) with hertz capability
- Wire cutters, wire strippers, and wire crimpers
- Hammer
- Tool box and travel case
- ASE Certifications in brakes, steering and suspension, electrical and diesel engines
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Automotive Schooling
- Travel as needed-multiple day trips and overnights (Flying and Driving)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Be 18 years or older
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- This is a full-time position, starting at $ an hour, depending on experience
