We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team. This individual will help maintain and improve our portfolio of 50+ apartments in Augusta, Maine.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities.

Additional to performing the normal maintenance activities you will be tasked with unit turnovers, painting, general plumbing, light carpentry, landscaping, finish work and other miscellaneous building repairs.

This is a full-time position. Must have experience, own hand tools, and reliable transportation


Duties:

• Oversee the daily operations and management of residential properties
• Responsible for investigating and resolving all tenant complaints in partnership with property manager
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
• Evaluate, repair and maintain building, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems within the buildings
• Communicate with Management about any issues, concerns, and customer requests.
• Must be able to perform carpentry from stud to finish product
• Maintain accurate records of property maintenance activities in a timely and professional manner
• Completion of all resident apartment turn over tasks
• Perform snow removal and other winter storm tasks

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of various maintenance procedures and techniques
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Familiarity with CNC machines is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of mold remediation and water damage restoration is preferred
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Perform landscaping activities
• Must be able available to complete "Oncall" duties

Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour
