Position Summary:

The Team Member is the core of the Gotham Bagels experience.

They are responsible for creating day making experiences through delivering unparalleled guest service, making world-class hand-crafted beverages and bringing the Purpose and Values of Gotham to life in every interaction.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffeebased beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and more, following our established recipes and techniques.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
  • Floats between barista and guest service, and willingly fulfills all team member roles and responsibilities
  • Takes guest orders & manages cash drawer and follows all cash handling policies and procedures
  • Maintains the look and feel of a wellrun store by following cleanliness, sanitization and organization standards
  • Differentiates between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support
  • Collaborate with the BOH team to ensure efficient and timely order fulfillment.
  • Continually be aware of the status of orders and the flow of the kitchen.
  • Coordinate Delivery and Catering orders, fulfill Coffee orders, dessert orders, and retail orders.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting your colleagues when needed.
  • Understands that the team is managing multiple priorities and willingly takes direction from leaders

  • Anticipating guest needs and proactively solving guest opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality
  • Makes enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests

  • Takes ownership for and is eager to make a positive impact on others
  • Shows up ready and willing to be a reliable team player and support one another

Qualifications:


Required:


  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and/or weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality standards.

Preferred:


  • Craft coffee barista experience.
  • 2 years of experience working in a restaurant setting

What makes you great:


  • Bilingual-Spanish and English preferred.
  • Latte art experience a plus
