Announcement Summary
This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised.
The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates.
We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.
Duties
This position provides technical support in preparation of classrooms and open IT labs for students and faculty use. Assist in the setup, maintenance and security of instructional labs and classroom computers, printers, peripherals, and supplies. Provides technical assistance and information to students, faculty and staff on computer hardware and software. Maintains the general cleanliness of computer equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have at least one year of working experience in the IT field with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 & 2019 software features or have at least one year of college credit in a computer-related field.
Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Must also be available to work on either Fayetteville Main Campus and/or Spring Lake Campus.
Physical activity required in the performance of the job includes: occasionally lifting and moving up to 50 pounds; must see with sufficient close vision; use hands to operate controls; hear audible equipment indicators and verbal communications in the environment; bend, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs; frequently required to stand and walk.
