Fabricator/Welder (Pipe & Structural)

Job Description:

A welder is a skilled tradesperson responsible for joining metal parts by using various welding techniques. This role involves reading blueprints, selecting materials, operating welding equipment, and ensuring the structural integrity of welded components.

Job Responsibilities:

· Preform welding using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, ARC, or oxyacetylene welding, depending on the project requirements,

· Select and prepare materials including metal sheets, pipes, or structural components, by cleaning, cutting, or shaping them to meet project specifications.

· Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, or work orders to understand welding requirements and project layouts.

· Inspect and assess welded components for defects, ensuring elds meet quality and safety standards. Conduct non-destructive testing as needed.

Job Requirements:

· 3+ Years experience.

· Proficiency in various welding techniques. Must be able to work with carbon steel and stainless-steel metals.

· Strong understanding of welding materials and equipment operations.

· Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation.

· Ability to work independently and as a team.

· Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Must be willing to be clean shaven at certain times.

· Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.

· Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

· Must be able to work outdoors with high and low temperatures.

Schedule:

Full Time, Monday-Friday, Weekends as needed, Possible Holidays.

Starting Pay:

3+ years' experience $20-$25.

Less than 3 years' experience $16-$20.
