OPPORTUNITY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Evaluate and implement purification technology and optimized existing techniques and workflows
  • Assume responsibility for critical reagent sourcing and maintain adequate supply and inventory
  • Plan, execute and carefully document experimental results in a time sensitive manner using Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) systems and clearly communicate to internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to development and optimization of new technologies and methods related to improve mRNA synthesis and purification

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • BS in Biology, Molecular Biology or related discipline with 2+ years of experience
  • Experience with mRNA synthesis at different scales (Highthroughput, medium scale), largescale/multistep chromatography (e.g. RP-HPLC, SEC) and tangential flow filtrations, along with a strong understanding of molecular biology and general lab operations
  • Excellent communication, organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and crossfunctionally with highly skilled teams in fastpaced environments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Background in nucleic acid characterization techniques
  • Experience in CRISPR Therapeutics using nonviral delivery

Base Salary Range:
$84,938 - $90,100

The listed base salary range is for Mammoth employees in the Bay Area. Actual base salary will be determined by geographic work location, relevant professional experience, applicable skills, and internal equity.

The base salary range for those working remotely outside of the San Francisco Bay Area may differ and will be determined by industry market data for the role and specific region.
