Summary:


The Department of Pathology at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Instructor - Pathologists' Assistant for its Division of Anatomic Pathology.

Located in the nation's fourth largest city, TCH is the nation's largest children's hospital and has recently completed expansion of the Legacy Tower, a 640,000 square foot acute care tower with six additional operating rooms.

In addition to robust pediatric and neonatal services, TCH also offers programs in high-risk obstetrics and gynecology, fetal medicine, and fetal surgery at the Pavilion for Women as well as adult congenital heart surgery.


Minimum Qualifications:


In addition to adhering to the policies set forth by TCH and Baylor College of Medicine, the person must understand and act on the need for discretion.

This person will report directly to the Medical Director of AP Laboratories.


Interested individuals must possess a bachelor's degree from a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) approved Pathologists' Assistant program and certification as a Pathologists' Assistant by the American Association of Pathologists' Assistants or American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

Six months of directly related experience is ideal.
