Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a part-time Cashier to join our team at Mike Anderson Chevrolet Group in Chicago, Illinois.

This role is best suited for an individual who wants to be a part of a fast-paced environment in the auto industry.

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling payments and providing exceptional customer service. This is an individual contributor role, where you will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals.

Hours:
TUESDAY-FRIDAY 3-8

SATURDAY 8-1

Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
Process payments for vehicle purchases, services, and parts
Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately
Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
Maintain a neat and organized cashier station
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely transactions
Follow company policies and procedures regarding payment processing and customer interactions
Provide excellent customer service by resolving any payment issues or concerns
Keep accurate records of transactions and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred
Familiarity with cash handling and credit card transactions
Basic computer skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Availability to work flexible parttime hours.
