- Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing processes, increase productivity, and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, and maintenance, to resolve production issues and optimize workflow.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, training, and development within the manufacturing team.
- Manage and mentor a team of supervisors and production staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the heavy manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
