- Carry out duties in accordance with SWS Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, as well as, regulatory requirements.
- Perform duties in accordance with SWS Best Practices, Operational Policies & Procedures
- Be able to work in a team environment and understand their role as a member of the team
- Demonstrate the willingness and ability to learn the job duties of an Equipment Operator
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Conduct limited repairs and maintenance on fracturing equipment with supervision.
- Work diligently toward the achievement of team goals
- Operate acid equipment, sand equipment, blender, and chemical equipment when necessary
- Perform basic rig-up operations, including connecting hoses and iron
- Completes other duties as assigned by the SWS leadership team.
- Minimum of two (2) years Fracturing/Stimulation experience with a service company or oilfield operating company.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Some mechanical ability preferred
- A Clean driving record
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours, weekends and holidays
- Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions: (hot, cold, dust, dirt, noise, etc.)
- Working out-of-doors, where exposure to atmospheric conditions of extreme heat or cold, fumes, and gases are frequent. Exposure to noise, vibration, high pressure, moving/mechanical parts, electrical shock, chemical and caustic materials is common in the normal performance of the duties associated with this position
- The ability to push, lift, pull or carry equipment of up to 100 lbs
- Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
- To be on call 24 hours a day when needed
- You will be required to pass all pre-employment requirements including a physical demands, vision, and drug-screening test along with a thorough background and driving record check
