- Responsible for daily charge capture with strict attention to accuracy.
- Works closely with department and hospital leadership to resolve materials and billing discrepancies/queries.
- Create and share usage reports and update materials listed in the Charge Master.
- Schedules OR and delivery cases on labor and delivery floor.
- Independently brings project solutions to the CDM/Materials teams and management
- Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested
- Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge
- Cooperates and interacts with superiors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service"
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work or school experience required
- Healthcare related degree and professional work experience in revenue cycle operations and/or clinical operations, is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management or a related field preferred
- Prior billing/scheduling experience preferred
