Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of food items for catering events
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare sauces, dressings, and other condiments
- Set up food stations with necessary utensils, plates, and napkins
- Assist in the plating and presentation of food items
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food preparation or catering is preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fastpaced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Note:
This position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds.
