About this Role
In this role you will be the business partner for our Global Operations Supply Chain and Planning functions. You will develop a strategy for these business areas that improves business capabilities leveraging the latest technologies. In addition, you will guide the Program execution teams as they work to deliver against the strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Global Operations Vice Presidents for Planning and Supply Chain, along with their teams, to recommend & prioritize DT investments / projects that support strategic business initiatives.
- Design and develop DT strategies and roadmaps to support progressing Carrier's global capabilities across the planning and sourcing domains. Provide expertise on how best functional capability needs can be translated to technology solutions that will have financial and qualitative impact.
- Lead a team that is primarily matrixed with the Digital Center of Excellence to create a foundation for world class digital customer experience end to end with primary focus on delivery excellence. Be a champion for digital priorities of standardization, simplification and modernization.
- Work closely with project management teams to successfully execute initiatives and deliver the committed business outcome.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of emerging DT technologies and methodologies applicable to the domain with consideration of external benchmarks and best practices.
- Engage with suppliers, in conjunction with Procurement and the CoE, in terms of contract negotiation, service level fulfillment, development, deployment, and operational support.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors' Degree
- 12+ years of experience in Digital/Information Technology field
- 5+ years in a leadership role
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Proven track record in successfully implementing supply chain, manufacturing, sourcing, and supplier tools with an emphasis on Analytics / AI.
- Demonstrated capability to work in cross functional leadership team, be an effective business partner, and execute in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership, developing digital strategies and roadmaps, and change management
- Digital and transformation domain competencies (ie. Advanced planning, supplier collaboration, cost analytics, SIOP)
- Knowledgeable of digital product development practices, knows what "great" looks like in the context of a high performing digital organization
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to effectively engage with and influence people at all levels and Strong business acumen and project management skills.
