    Job Description


    As the Engineering Manager, specializing in Anaerobic Digester facilities, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of anaerobic digestion projects.

    Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of engineers and professionals in creating efficient and effective anaerobic digester facilities that meet environmental, regulatory, and client-specific requirements.

    Responsibilities


    Project Planning and Management:

    • Lead the planning and execution of anaerobic digester facility projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables
    • Proactively lead the resolution of technical challenges encountered, ensuring swift problem-solving to support seamless execution of project plans
    • Manage resources effectively to optimize project efficiency

    Design and Development:

    • Oversee the conceptualization, design, and final engineering of anaerobic digester facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
    • Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to determine the viability and potential of proposed designs
    • Utilize expertise in anaerobic digestion technologies to innovate and improve facility designs for increased efficiency and sustainability

    Team Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Manage a team of engineers, and other professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality work output
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team
    • Manage the recruitment, training, and professional development of engineers

    Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations
    • Communicate project progress, address concerns, and negotiate solutions to ensure client satisfaction and project success

    Quality Assurance and Compliance:

    • Implement rigorous quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of designs and construction processes
    • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety guidelines
    Knowledge & Skills


    • Bachelor's degree (Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
    • 15+ years of design & operations engineering experience
    • 3 years of experience leading project teams
    • 10+ years of biogas/anaerobic digester/RNG industry experience is preferred
    • 5+ years of EPC gas processing experience is preferred
