The Kraftwerk Plattling GmbH (KWP) is a 100% subsidiary of E.ON Energy Projects GmbH.

The industrial power plant serves the electricity and steam generation needs of the UPM paper mill in Plattling and is currently operated as a modern combined cycle plant with 120 MWel in the electricity market.

The Kraftwerk Plattling GmbH is expected to undergo a change in ownership in 2025.
