Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct addiction counseling sessions for individuals struggling with substance abuse.
  • Assist clients in navigating Medicare benefits and services.
  • Collaborate with social workers to develop comprehensive care plans for clients.
  • Collect and maintain accurate data on client interactions and progress.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with healthcare professionals.
  • Educate clients on proper nutrition and wellness practices to promote overall health.
  • Engage in public speaking engagements to raise awareness about community health initiatives.
  • Advocate for public health policies that benefit underserved populations.

Experience:


  • Previous experience in addiction counseling and support services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and processes is a plus.
  • Background in social work or related fields is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis methods.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
  • Ability to educate individuals on various healthrelated topics.
  • Strong public speaking skills to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
  • Understanding of public health principles and initiatives.

Pay:
$ $24.37 per hour


License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (preferred)
