Core Responsibilities:

Inspect used cars to identify damages and maintenance needs
Test, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Inform the Service Manager of any additional services or repairs needed, estimating the time needed to complete the work
Perform work on the repair order per dealership standards

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

1 year of work experience as a Used Car Technician is required; ASE certifications preferred
Must have your own tools and toolbox
Superb attention to detail and thorough workmanship
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
Punctual and takes initiative
A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required
Must pass a preemployment background check and drug screening

Hours and Work Environment

Hours are Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm and every other Saturday, working in an open air shop with swamp coolers.

This role reports to the Service Manager.
