Job Description for Cashmere Apprenticeship

We are looking for apprentices to become parquet installers.
The tasks of this profession are carried out at constantly changing workplaces/construction sites - new buildings or old buildings - renovations. This includes preparing the subfloor, such as performing spackling work. The main task of the parquet installer is to install parquet, carpet and PVC flooring.
Here's what you'll learn in theory:

  • Get to know different types of flooring and materials
  • Practice calculations
  • Learn about wood and installation patterns
  • Perform quality control
  • Understand workplace safety
Here's what you'll do in practice:
  • Cut, glue and install flooring
  • Prepare, sand and clean subfloors
  • Measure rooms and calculate material needs
  • Create room sketches and installation plans
  • Clean and maintain floors
  • Create insulation
  • Interact with customers
We are looking for apprentices in the field of parquet installation for the summer. In a strong team, you will learn everything about installing laminate, hardwood, parquet and cork flooring.

Your strengths should include manual dexterity, spatial imagination
