Position Summary

  • This position reports to the Sr. Director, Medical Strategy Milvexian and Established Brands and is located at Princeton Pike; compliance with current corporate office attendance policy is required
  • The Director will support the development and execution of disease area and asset specific medical strategies and will represent US Medical & Established Brands in strategic and tactical discussions regarding lifecycle management, data generation and medical communications. They will partner with US and WW Commercial, Research and Development, HEOR and Regulatory Affairs to support NULOJIX, SPYRCEL, ABRAXANE and other Established Brands.
  • This role will initially be focused on partnering with US and WW Commercial and Medical to execute the relaunch of NULOJIX in the US market. This position requires a selfmotivated and proactive individual that possesses strong attention to detail, adaptability, the ability to organize multiple projects and initiatives and to effectively communicate complex data to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engages with high impact external thought leaders in the transplant space to identify and translate key insights
  • Undertake Thought Leader identification, mapping and profiling in an evolving transplant environment
  • Establish and maintain interactions with external medical and scientific experts, clinical researchers, academic and transplant centers to assess unmet medical needs in order to develop and execute appropriate medical strategy and engage in scientific exchange
  • Active leadership and participation as core member on the brand team and close collaboration/partnership with key stakeholders to craft plans that ensure US market needs are addressed
  • Maintain working knowledge of the treatment landscape, including competitors' plans, generation and analysis of insights and translation into action. Coordinate with Marketing and other matrix partners to internally communicate results from clinical trials, treatment guidelines and other clinical data
  • Collaborates and communicates with US Commercialization & Access organizations to integrate medical perspectives into the commercialization process and ensure appropriate alignment between commercial and medical plans.
  • Serve as internal disease expert who is fully integrated into the BMS matrix team and provides critical input into the development of effective communication tools and programs for optimal market access.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make effective decisions on selecting external organizations and researchers with appropriate expertise for research collaborations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, PA/NP)
  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Experience working with National and Regional physician thought leaders
  • Experience in working as a project member of a multi functional team, knowledge of the US Medical Affairs organization, medical planning and regulatory landscape are desirable
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with an ability to evaluate scientific data and medical literature and the ability to extrapolate to medical, marketing or sales programs is required
  • Understanding of the US Healthcare system, the pharmaceutical industry and clinical and health economic practices in the US is required
  • Experience with US market medical promotional review preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to navigate complex situations and gain alignment with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver results in a deadlinedriven environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong understanding of business acumen including payer and market access challenges
  • Ability to travel, 2050%
