Description
A hybrid work schedule with a combination of in-person and remote work may be agreed upon. Some evenings, weekends, and overnight travel events will be necessary.
Salary & Compensation

  • UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skill and experience in performing financial analysis, including budget preparation, reconciliation, management and reporting. (required)
  • Working knowledge of University systems and security concerns, including, but not limited to BruinBuy Plus, Concur, BAM scholarship award system, Facility Service Requests; repository for shared documents; document management systems; financial systems; and online content management systems. (required)
  • Experience and skills to analyze and evaluate technical and non
- technical program requirements, information, or problems in an objective manner, and make logical conclusions. (required)

  • Experience with outreach efforts for students from diverse populations and backgrounds with sensitivity to culture, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. (required)
  • Ability to work with competing deadlines, meet fixed deadlines, manage multiple assignments, perform effectively with a fluctuating workload, adapt to revised priorities, and follow through tasks to completion with accuracy and attention to detail independently or with mínimal supervision. (required)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information, as well as handle confidential or sensitive matters appropriately and in compliance with UCLA policy, the UCLA Institutional Review Board (IRB), and federal research guidelines. (required)
  • Strong ability to quickly learn and use new and unfamiliar computer systems, programs and online programs. (required)
  • Excellent skills in oral and written English communication, with demonstrated working knowledge and experience in writing or contributing to the writing of educational research reports, proposals, research briefs, presentations, and/or other related documents. (required)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with, establish, and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers, faculty, staff, leadership, students, alumni, vendors, visitors and the public, and to maintain composure, exercise sound judgement, diplomacy, and negotiation when responding to issues/concerns, and/or when confronted with difficult situations. (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Education, Business or related field. (preferred)
  • Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Publisher, and Project), Google Suite, Zoom and/or other teleconferencing/webinar platforms, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop or other video and still image editing software, website programming/management software, and Social Media Platforms. (preferred)
  • Experience developing innovative solutions to meet program goals, assess outcomes, and use data analysis to make sound recommendations for future initiatives. (preferred)
