Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as business partner to the FinanceManager, Branch Manager, and Sales Department conducting quantitativeanalyses of data and information affecting budgets, forecasting,expenses, and other financial projects helping to drive decisions related toall facets of the branch business.
Essential Duties:
Conduct and develop financial analysis acquired from various departmentsCollect and analyze financial information for assigned accounts, products orproduct lines, or business units in order to track the organization's progressReport current or expected financial performance and create financial modelsto guide decision makingDevelop technical expertise in analytical tools and techniques and serve as aresource to othersAnalyze expenditures, sales, depreciation, and capital investments tomake recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financialprocedures, plans, and controlsAccelerate the organization's data capabilities and provide the means forincreasingly sophisticated uses of data while promoting data literacy acrossthe organizationTranslate and communicate analysis and data into actionable information forbusiness leadersAssists in the preparation and distribution of monthly, q uarterly,and/or annual financial presentations/statementsProvides analysis and the necessary guidance to individuals and corporateorganizationsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, and 4+ years relevantexperience; MBA or CPA a plusStrong technical knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Power BI andDynamics (DAX)Proven ability to analyze and translate data into actionable informationAbility to manage workload utilizing various computer platforms/softwareapplicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a teamMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which maybe subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.
