    Mechanical Installation Service Technician

    Do you have a knack for mechanics? Interest in high-tech medical equipment? If so, then our Mechanical Installation Service Technician position is right for you

    100% TRAVEL

    REMETRONIX was established in 1992 and primarily focuses on the installation and deinstallation of high tech medical equipment. We work for the top OEM's of the business and provide them full turn key logistics of going to airports picking up their medical systems, bringing them to hospitals, and completing the rigging and installation of the systems. Our company works in all types of "medical modalities" or medical system types such as MRI, PET, CT, Radiation Therapy, XR and Proton Therapy. At REMETRONIX there is a career path for all employees. You can begin as a technician, grow to a team leader, possibly Supervisor and even manager level.

    Responsibilities & Skills:

    • Maintains integrity of confidential information
    • Maintains customer relationships, and complies with REMETRONIX SOP
    • (Standard Operating Procedures) and policy, customer requirements, and statutory and regulatory guidelines
    • Responsible to follow all safety OSHA guidelines
    • Maintains a safe work environment through safe work practices
    • To deliver a safe and timely installation to the customer
    • Represents REMETRONIX and the customer in a professional and courteous manner
    • Assists Team Leader with quality and compliance with the REMETRONIX SOP, customer requirements, and ISO 9001:2008 (International Standard Organization) and ensures each process is followed by each team member
    • Assists the Team Leader with coordinating suppliers and helps direct on-site deliveries of equipment.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year university or technical school; or a comparable amount of experience related to the work activities or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Up to 100% travel Nationwide
    • Provide and maintain a valid driver's license and maintain clean driving record.
    • 6 years of driving experience required.
    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Must be able to pass a Mechanical Concepts Assessment Test.
    • The use of both hands and fingers with dexterity. Great hand/eye coordination and ability to work on a ladder. Must be able to lift up to 75lbs of cables or equipment.
    • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to read Metric and Standard measurement and use leveling methods to complete related work activities.
    • Must have excellent communication skills, be punctual and courteous in accordance with on-site etiquette.
