- Implements continuous improvement strategies and provides constructive feedback on the Air Liquide programs and initiatives.
- Follows all AL Policies and Standard Operating and Maintenance Procedures.
- Ability to work towards the role as a Technical Expert in reliability and maintenance.
- Follows governmental rules and engineering standards: (API, ASME, ANSI, NBIC, NFPA, etc).
- Ability to read and interpret company industrial/quality standards and local documents.
- Leads and/or participates in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) investigations.
- Utilizes and understands Enterprise Asset Management system (Maximo).
- Responsible for identifying reliability threats and driving improvements for the top 10 threats to production
- Ownership of the reliability performance of the facility that they are supporting.
- Ensures equipment technologies and maintenance strategies are applied uniformly throughout the facility.
- Reviews and optimizes predictive and preventive Work Orders Job Plans with the support of Subject Matter Experts across multiple disciplines. (Rotating, Stationary, Instrumentation, Electrical)
- Reviews, and approves maintenance job plans.
- Follows up with Plants to ensure corporate PM/PdM matrix goals are being met.
- Collects, Organizes, Analyzes, Interprets, and prioritizes preventive and/or predictive maintenance data as relates to mechanical inspections and condition based monitoring (vibration, oil analysis, IR analysis, data mining, predictive analytics, etc.).
- Conducts reliability data analysis –examples include but are not limited to: statistical Process Control, Reliability modeling and prediction, Data mining, Fault Tree Analysis, Mean Time To Repair, Mean Time Between Failure, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Return on Net Assets plant/zone availability and reliability.
- Generates Reliability Event reports in Air Liquide's industrial Reporting Software/Database.
- Reviews and analyzes reliability incidents. Identifies trends and proposes long-term solutions, supports execution of solutions at the facility level.
- Collaborates with Maintenance & Operations Teams.
- Solves complex problems: takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- Participates in facility Maintenance Planning and Execution meetings to identify recurring equipment issues and concerns.
- Participates in scope development and turnaround activities, activity supports on site turnaround activities from a reliability engineering perspective.
- Leads Production Site Monthly Reliability Meetings
- Facilitates Vulnerability Study reviews for primary production plants and pipeline networks
- Provides recommendations to optimize asset maintenance, critical spare parts, rebuild and inspection costs via National Supply Management Programs
- Optimizes current maintenance strategies based upon the RCA , FMEA results and/ or Industry Best Practices
- Implements continuous improvement strategies
- Identifies and recommends solutions and processes that are sustainable
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering with 10 to 15 years of related reliability engineering or maintenance & reliability activities
- Extensive working knowledge of machinery, process equipment and associated reliability or maintenance practices
- Ability to work self directed and make sound decisions
- Able to travel as required
- Provide 24/7 production support as needed during turnaround periods and rotating equipment overhaul scopes.
- Assists in coaching, mentoring others within the production team on reliability engineering and reliability culture for improvement. Provides guidance on a regular basis to production and plant maintenance site employees

- Maintenance Engineering experience with typical petrochemical plant equipment

Description
The Senior Reliability Engineer is responsible for identifying and proposing solutions to circumvent reliability risks that could negatively affect AL primary production plant and business operations. Provide guidance, coaching to site employees to cultivate and promote best equipment and reliability practices. Acquire and analyze maintenance and reliability statistics to help define sustainable solutions to improve plant production availability and asset uptime. Ensures the successful implementation of proposed solutions. Partner with other Reliability team member's, Subject Matter Experts, Plant Management, Engineering, and Operations personnel to develop sustainable processes and strategies to reduce and/or eliminate reliability incidents and their associated costs of unreliability.Ensures safe, efficient, and reliable asset operations as relates to self and others during operational, maintenance, optimization and troubleshooting activities.
Supports implementation of the AL Mechanical Integrity Program
Participates in PSSR's as requested
