FIS is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer Senior for our innovative Commercial Lending Services business team.About the role:
As an SRE team member, you will participate in all of the daily activities of various projects during implementation, operating production environment to help maintain high stability, reduced Service Downtime and improve Quality of Service for FIS clients.
About the team:
The Commercial Lending Services business Delivery team builds and delivers FIS solution based on microservices architecture for containerized cloud-ready infrastructure.
Our stream leverages Agile methodologies - our team's role is to build source code and promote artifacts through to releasable status.
What you will be doing?This role supports technology while coding, configuring, implementing, maintaining and supporting.
Participate and Lead the Daily Project work, Operations of the Team for Changes and IncidentLead Incident Triage Calls and Follow up on Root Cause AnalysisConfiguring and Deploying Product Releases into Production and verifying for Quality workParticipating in Data Center and Infrastructure Change activitiesDeveloping Monitoring and Alerting for various Application production environmentsHelp identify repetitive non-value adding tasks and be hands-on in coding and scripting to automate them.
Actively Participate and Contribute in Team Meetings and Team Building activities.What you will need:
Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will focus on Scalability, High Availability, Performance, Stability and Reliability of Software Applications.
SRE will build automations to simplify operations and processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to create proactive engineering mechanisms and ensure positive end user experiences.
SRE with a good understanding of Products & interdependencies, with blend of pragmatic, operational and software development skills, will apply sound engineering principles, operational discipline, and mature automation to our operating environments and the codebase.
At least 2-3 years of experience and knowledge of building and supporting application infrastructure in a private and Azure public cloud.
2-3 years of Change Management experience on ITSM Tools like Service NowExperience Initiating and leading or participating in Resolution of Incidents
2-3 of Experience developing and or implementing effective Monitoring on standard tools similar to Splunk, Dynatrace, and Azure cloud native monitoring tools.
Knowledge and Skills to comfortably work on Windows, Unix Systems, IBMi Technologies including DB2, WebSphere AS and MQ, Oracle, Citrix and SQL Server.
Ability to query, script and deploy on various database systems DB2, Oracle, SQL Server etc.To be a self-starter and someone who can run with minimal supervision.

The pay range for this full-time position is $97, $164,410.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location.
Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
