Description

Sor Ynez is an exciting new concept within the NextFab compound at American & Berks.

We are excited to offer many vegan and carnivorous options, an expanding beverage program full of craft cocktails, beer, and wine, brunch and happy hour.

Sor Ynez is currently looking for a qualified, full-time or part-time support team member.

Shifts currently include Thursday-Saturday dinner and Saturday-Sunday brunch.

General Expectations:

Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, professional, gracious service at all times
Maintains clean and organized work stations that are cohesive with the restaurant's philosophy, culture, and standards of excellence.
Recognize or seek areas for staff and restaurant improvement and offer positive solutions for change.
Operate within the restaurant on a daily basis with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy and initiative.
Understand completely all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
Understand philosophy of management and owner. Displays consistent attention to detail and follow through of all restaurant policies.
Represents the restaurant professionally through effective communication, cooperation and relationships with the all business partners.

Specific Duties:

This position will include, but is not limited to, the following duties

Arriving on time and in correct attire for each shift
Communicating efficiently with both coworkers and management is imperative
Maintaining a clean and organized space, follow correct opening & closing procedures
Setting up the dining room and patio for service before opening and breaking down at close
Maintaining cleanliness of all restaurant areas during service, restocking as necessary
Retrieving anything bartenders & servers may need during service efficiently and timely
Running food to guests with proper etiquette
Clearing and resetting tables as needed
Assisting bartenders with prep work if needed
Cleaning and organizing the restaurant during the shift and after closing
Assisting guests in any way necessary, and informing bartenders and management about any guest incidents or issues
