Description
As the Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant at Vanta, you will own the entire AP process, including processing, recording and tracking invoices, credit notes, ERP integrations of invoices, month-end close reconciliations, and develop relationships internally with all departments.

Maintaining vendor records and timely payment of accounts is critical to Vanta's continued growth. As the AP Accountant, you will be responsible for timely and accurate vendor payment reporting and accurate GL reporting.What you'll do as a AP Accountant at Vanta:
Daily entry of vendor invoices, including the review of invoice coding and entering changes of vendor informationCollection of documents for vendor onboarding and importing data into our AP systemInvestigate, address, and resolve vendor payment/invoicing issues.
Perform reconciliation between accounting systems and operating systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of data. Collaborate across functions to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Perform month-end close activitiesParticipate in ad-hoc accounting projects

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.
The base pay range for this position is $77,000 - $90,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
