Facilities Maintenance Specialist, in
Phoenix, AZ, your primary objective is to ensure a safe, clean, welcoming, and efficient environment for our employees and guests
.



What you will do?:

  • Performs inhouse repairs/maintenance to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting & general maintenance (modular setup) on company property buildings and assets.
  • Perform and coordinate facilities maintenance activities associated with proper operation and repair of systems; including basic troubleshooting to assess root cause and effective remedy(s)
  • Ensures the safety, security, cleanliness, integrity, and appearance of the facility
  • Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, equipment, and materials
  • Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment needed to perform job duties while coordinating the stocking of materials needed for the maintenance of the site
  • Document, communicate, and train staff on facility services related processes
  • Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections
  • Monitor vendor performance and work completed while maintaining strong, positive relationships
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with all employees and key stakeholders
  • Uses hand tools and power tools needed to accomplish the tasks listed above and which may require lifting over 50+ pounds

What you bring to the table:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associated degree or certification in facilities, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical, preferred
  • Strong technical skills including experience in electrical, industrial control systems, plumbing, repair, grounds keeping, and general facilities maintenance
  • Ability to successfully use desktop technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Sound judgment and discretional skills and work with little or no supervision
  • Working knowledge of fire alarm and fire prevention systems
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • Able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, and collaboration.
  • Proven problemsolving skills during time in DC
  • Professional, customercentric demeanor
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Certified or willing to become Material Handling Equipment (MHE)trained
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to think creatively, with attention to detail, and prioritize workload in the face of competing issues

Wage:
Starting at $21.00 per hour


Hours/Shift:
Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
