- This position supports the City's Fisheries Biologist and Fisheries Specialists in various tasks related to fish culture, fish management, habitat construction, fish population sampling, and more.
- Responsibilities include feeding fish, fish harvest and transport, conducting hatchery tours, data recording and analysis, and maintenance of equipment.
- Additional tasks involve organizing fishing clinics, water chemistry monitoring, operating boats and motors, and instruction of children and adults.
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Maximum weekly hours: 29.
- Payment method: City employees must receive pay electronically through direct deposit or pay card.
- Criminal history background check will be conducted upon conditional offer of employment.
- Motor Vehicle Report will be obtained for positions requiring a driver's license.
- Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy will be shared for safety-sensitive positions.
- Cyber security sensitive roles require a Fingerprint Background check and Security Awareness Training.
