Job Description Summary:

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • In this position, you will lead HR M&A activities at GE Vernova, specifically focusing on supporting Business Development (BD) & HR teams in the people operations aspects of acquisitions, divestitures, and JVs.
  • Collaborate with GE Vernova's BD teams to track the global deal pipeline, establish employee transfer mechanisms, and provide crucial support during confidential due diligence processes.
  • Act as a key point of contact for HR Legal Entity strategy and simplification opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Advise GE Vernova BD and HR teams on people operations in divestiture and acquisition phases.
  • Represent GE Vernova People Ops in deal discussions and influence deal structures when possible.
  • Offer expert guidance to deal teams on HR-related matters and propose solutions based on business needs.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance and ethical standards are maintained during M&A activities.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and provide updates to senior management on M&A progress.
  • Support business reorganization and demand planning initiatives within People Operations.
  • Act as HR Point of Contact for simplification opportunities and liaise with local teams on entity landscape.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience in M&A and legal entity structures.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies in a multinational context.
  • Flexibility for travel and ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups and countries.

Desired Characteristics
  • Extensive experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, post-merger integration, and transition services management.
  • Proven ability to drive change in matrix organizations and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives.
