- Your primary responsibility will be analyzing data to identify and implement improvements to combat system design.
- Build, maintain, and improve automated software tools to enable rapid analysis of large data sets from complex operational systems to aid in the discovery and recognition of trends, characterize system performance, and perform root cause analysis.
- Drive new design features and provide technical recommendations based on analysis.
- Deliver presentations to sponsors and engineering community working groups; effectively communicate proposed concepts, engineering results, and recommendations.
- Propose innovative new solutions for next-generation Engagement Optimization capabilities. Grow into a leadership role coordinating internal and external analysis activities.
- Have earned a BS or MS in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent degree.
- Have experience programming and scripting (i.e., Matlab, Python, R).
- Exhibit strong communication skills.
- Enjoy working successfully within a team environment.
- Thrive in a team multi-discipline, multi-organization environment.
- Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
- Possess strong MATLAB and/or Python scripting skills.
- Have experience working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms.
- Are willing and able to travel.
- Have experience in Aegis Weapon System and assessment and/or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) ground and flight test analysis.
- Have experience with multiple DoD, MDA, and PEO IWS Elements and contractor teams with an understanding of their system requirements and stressors.
- Hold an active Top Secret security clearance.
