- Support analysis and verification of RF and PVAT based guidance and navigation systems and communications links to include digital signal processing, seeker and antenna design, prototyping and experiments.
- Design, integrate, and test RF technologies and systems in both laboratory and field test settings.
- Evaluate the performance and recommend future improvements of RF and PVAT-based guidance systems
- Use anechoic chambers and devise RF testbeds to characterize the performance of RF systems, analyze data, and propose design refinements.
- Work with other APL engineers as well as outside prime contractors and government sponsors.
- Have a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or another related technical field.
- Have knowledge of RF systems, propagation, antenna design, or signal processing.
- Familiar with using one or more types of RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, waveform generators, oscilloscopes, or signal analyzers
- Have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and have demonstrated success while working within a team environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.
- Able to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
