Our Huntington, IN manufacturing facility is currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team, PM Tech, & janitors.


With mínimal supervision, the Maintenance Manager through interaction with the Plant Manager, Production Manager, CNC Programming Manager, and Technical Support Manager develops, maintains, and continuously improves equipment, and facilities.

The Maintenance Manager provides excellent leadership, development of team members, and continuous improvement of the Preventative Maintenance Program.

This responsibility includes developing accurate maintenance budgets; implementation of actions that always provide a clean and safe working environment; and is responsible for OSHA and EPA compliance and general safety of the Huntington facility.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the fields of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic mechanical knowledge. Experience with PLC's also desirable but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in a leadership role, including supervision, or a degree in management and/or leadership.
  • Extensive knowledge and broad understanding of OSHA regulations, State/Local Fire Codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience with interdepartmental collaboration
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Experience with departmental budgeting
  • Excellent problemsolving and time management skills
  • Selfdirected achievement of departmental and organizational goals with a minimum of supervision
  • Role modeling a high level of accountability for internal and external audiences
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Willing to participate in continuing education to learn new techniques as they emerge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance team which includes maintenance coordinators, preventative maintenance technician, and janitor
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of Preventative Maintenance
  • Demonstrate efficient personnel planning including hiring and developing an effective work force
  • Maintain cost control, expense, and capital budgeting
  • Ensure compliance of OSHA, State, and Local regulations
  • Conducts Forklift Certifications and assists in various aspects of safety training
  • Make improvements through purchasing and overseeing installations of machinery, assisting in performing maintenance tasks, operating procedures, and documentation
  • Assist in determining optimal shop floor layouts, product flow strategies, ergonomics, material handling, etc.
  • Compose justification and technical reports
  • Maintain all PHD Huntington's facilities and grounds and the JDE Maintenance Module
  • Train new employees and assist other team members as needed

Pay:
$66, $99,000.00 per year
