Summary:

Reports directly to the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor. Primarily responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of HDC's fleet automotive, diesel and material handling fleet.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner in compliance with HDC's procedures
• Maintains work area in a neat, safe and organized manner.
• Complies with standard operating procedures relating to vacation scheduling, uniform compliance as well as proper reporting of accidents, and absences.
• Complies with OSHA, utilizing required safety equipment.
• Responsible for remaining knowledgeable in current mechanical trends relating to the repair of Diesel engine and diesel related repairs.
• Maintains personal hand tools.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Will assist with other projects as required.


Job Specifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Minimum five (5) years experience in automotive, diesel repair field.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong personal time management skills.
