Description

We are a residential restoration/reconstruction company based in San Clemente, CA that works with property owners and insurance carriers to repair homes following water or fire damage.

Although we are located in San Clemente, you will be working from the road to cover our service area which consists primarily of Orange County, with some work in LA, Riverside, and San Bernardino.

It is not necessary to visit the office on a daily basis. We are looking for an assistant project manager to expedite projects to completion.

We are a family owned, professional company that appreciates its team members and works together to achieve success as a team.

This job position will give you "on-the-job" training and has the potential to develop into an independent project manager.


Responsibilities:

Driving 4+ hours per day to check jobs, visit building departments and collect material samples.

Obtain permits

Meet with customers to supply material samples

Inspect jobs for quality control and verify progress

Verify time frames and schedules with subcontractors and material suppliers

Sit for inspections with city building departments and mortgage companies

Attend weekly operations and safety meetings

Excellent written and verbal communication

Daily project paperwork

Update job tracking software

Upload photos, documents, and notes to e-job logs.


Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be able to pass a drug test

Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic

Excellent problem solving and critical thinking

Communicate professionally with customers,subcontractors, and material suppliers

Clean driving record with valid driver's license

Proficient with Microsoft Office programs - Excel and Word

Time management

Innovative problem solving

Ability to acquire rapport with others

Ability to work well under pressure

Negotiation skills
