The campaign is aimed at raising $500 million for scholarships and financial aid, programs, and new learning spaces and to uniquely engage 50,000 alumni.


Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Alumni Engagement, the Assistant Director, Alumni Career and Professional Engagement leads the strategy and implementation of the Alumni Mentorship Program, alumni industry groups and digital engagement on NetworkUSF, the university's online networking and mentorship tool for alumni, students, faculty and staff.


Full Job Description:


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Director will manage and grow the Alumni Mentorship Program.

The Assistant director will also identify, recruit and manage industry groups, including but not limited to, communications and programming focused on those populations.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES ARE:


  • Manage the Alumni Mentorship Program (AMP), including segmented communications for signups, matching alumni mentors with student mentees,trouble shooting concerns or rematch requests, curating monthly newsletters for AMP participants, deploy surveys to gauge participant satisfaction, provide additional customer service as needed.
  • Review analytics of the platform, including but not limited to reviewing Google analytics, tracking metrics in NetworkUSF, review feedback ratings, generate reports as needed, assist in Salesforce Affinaquest data migration, partner with Prospect Development to code relevant information needed for portfolio building.
  • Build strong campus partnerships to promote NetworkUSF, and market events and programs
  • Increase overall membership on the platform on an annual basis.
  • Serve as the primary contact for PeopleGrove, NetworkUSF's platform provider and attend community webinars and be up to date on all enhancements and recommendations
  • Manage NetworkUSF users by:
  • Upholding community guidelines
  • Approving new users
  • Work with interns to manage user experience
  • User training and onboarding
  • Support customer service requests and followup on feedback
  • Help build the volunteer and donor pipeline to identify engaged alumni members and reporting back to Development
  • Manage user type for recent grads

  • Use alumni data to identify and launch industry groups with high ROI.
  • Plan and execute annual events around industry, in partnership with regional engagement and the schools and college.
  • Perform other activities as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • Five years of increasingly responsible work establishing programs and events that serve to reconnect and connect alumni to their alma mater.
  • Volunteer management experience
  • Demonstrated skill in building relationships with volunteers and helping them to lead efforts
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with alumni of all ages and demographics.
  • Project management expertise and the ability to prioritize and manage overlapping and competing deadlines.
  • Team orientated and comfortable with change; a strong habit of collaborating but also capable of working independently on projects with mínimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with direct experience writing marketing copy for college graduates.
  • Ability to travel, and work evenings and weekends.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:


  • An understanding of and appreciation for a Jesuit education is preferred.
  • Proven track record of building online communities

Salary Range:

$70,000/yr - $80,000/yr annualized; commensurate with experience
